Let’s think about this, shall we? Brass instruments have been around forever. Or at least since the year 1500 BC, according to Wikipedia, which says the earliest found form of a trumpet was found in that year.
In that time, the trumpet has undergone countless revisions, from the valveless bugle,
to the more esoteric Ophecleid and Serpent,
to the modern chunks of brass...
this sucks
